Arroz à Piamontese
Arroz à Piamontese is a typical dish of Brazilian cuisine, (not of the Piedmont cuisine, Italy), based on rice, milky cream and champignon.
With the lack and difficulty of buying the rice for the Risotto, the Brazilian chefs sought alternatives, with the milky cream, thus making a rice "in the fashion Piedmontese".
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups washed rice
- 1/2 teaspoon of oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- salt
- 1 can of champignon
- 100 g of mozzarella cheese
- 1 can of milky cream
DIRECTIONS
- Fry the rice in the oil and garlic until it is loose like a sand
- Put two fingers of water over the rice and cover until dry
- Pour the milky cream, the mozzarella and the champignon and let in the fire until the mozzarella melts and the rice is like a risotto, very wet
* If you think it is dry, add milk until you find the point that suits you.
