Carne Assada

Carne assada (literally "roasted meat"), is a typical Brazilian culinary dish made in the pressure cooker. Very easy to make and very tasty, usually eaten with rice and beans.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 piece eyeround of approximately 2 kg
  • 2 tablets of meat broth
  • 2 tablets of bacon broth
  • 100 ml Worcestershire sauce (or more to taste)
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • Parsley and chives to taste
  • 500 ml of water
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put everything in a large pressure cooker, cover and let cook for 40 minutes
  2. Open the pan and turn the meat, let it cook capped for another half hour approximately
