Dutch Pie

Despite the name, the pie is totally Brazilian, with no ties to the Netherlands. This cake was named after its creator, Silvia Leite, in honor of the good times lived in Europe with his former boss, a Dutchman.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 half-bitter chocolate bar
  • 2 packets of mastic biscuit or maria
  • 2 cans of cream
  • vanilla drops to taste
  • 8 to 10 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 400 g margarine

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt 100g of margarine
  2. Add the rest of the margarine, the yolks, the sugar and the drops of vanilla
  3. Beat until whitish cream
  4. Add the cans of cream without the serum (reserve the serum)
  5. In a removable bottom baking tray, cover the bottom and sides with cookies (soaked in the serum), then intercalate the layers of biscuit, and layers of cream (ending with a layer of cream)
  6. Melt the chocolate bar and cover the last layer of cream
  7. Refrigerate until smooth

TIP: On the sides of the form use butter paper for the cookie not to stick. For him to adhere to the form is only to moisten it a little.
