Kabocha no Sarada (カボチャのサラダ), is a pumpkin salad. Kabocha is a type of winter squash, a Japanese variety of the species Cucurbita maxima

INGREDIENTS

  • Kabocha (Japanese Pumpkin) - 500g
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Oil
  • Vinegar - 3 to 4 tablespoons
  • Salt - little
  • Black pepper - little
  • Aji no Moto - little

DIRECTIONS

  1. Remove the seeds and fibers of the pumpkin, cut into slices in the thickness of 2 cm.
  2. Peel garlic and knead.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the pumpkin and the garlic, cover and let fry over a low heat.
  4. Uncover the frying pan, fry in high heat stirring the frying pan until the liquid is dry.
  5. Prepare the sauce in another bowl (salt, vinegar, black pepper, Aji-no-moto). Add the fried pumpkins and mix well.
