Quindão
Is a popular Brazilian baked dessert, made chiefly from sugar, egg yolks, and ground coconut.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 ml of coconut milk
- 3 egg whites
- 6 sifted egg yolks (without pressing with the spoon not to smell like egg)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup of grated coconut
DIRECTIONS
- Put everything in the blender and beat until smooth
- Pour into a greased and sprinkled with sugar pudding form
- Bake (180ºC) in bain marie covered with foil for 40 minutes
- Remove the foil and keep in a bain marie for another 30 minutes
- Wait it to cool and then put in refrigerator for 2 hours
- Unmold
and sprinkle grated coconut on top
