Sunomono
Sunomono (酢の物), which literally means "sour things", is a typical dish of Japanese cuisine, usually served in small portions. Sunomono is considered a salad, being a complement to a main dish
INGREDIENTS
- Cucumber - 3
- Salt
- Kani-kama to taste
- Roasted sesame - little
- Aji-no-moto - little
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons shallow
- Vinegar - 7 tablespoons
- Toasted sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
- In a pan, put the Vinegar, the sugar, a Little Salt and the Aji-no-moto, and take it to boil until sugar dissolves. Reserve. Use it cold.
- Cut the cucumbers into thin slices and add 1 dessert spoon of salt. Leave for a few minutes.
- Shred kani kama very fine.
- Pour the cucumbers into the drainer and squeeze. If they are salty, rinse several times; and squeeze again.
- Add the cucumbers, the shredded kani kama and the cold seasoning. Sprinkle the toasted sesame.
